He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.

Be still, My child, and know that I am God!
Wait thou patiently—I know the path you trod
So falter not, nor fear, nor think to run and hide
For I, thy hope and strength, am waiting by thy side.

AT THE TEMPLE

  • GROW WITH ME – Did you know that St. John’s Temple holds a free preschool program for Moms and Tots? Every Wednesday, from 10-12, you can bring your preschooler to the Temple and enjoy songs, play time, snack and crafts. Why not come and visit us?

  • WE NEED YOU! COMMUNITY CARE MINISTRIES – This important ministry is in need of workers willing to participate in Nursing Home services. If interested, please contact the Temple office.

  • ELECTRONIC TITHING
Did you know……that the Temple has the ability to set up automatic electronic monthly contributions for you? It's easy. Here are just a few of the benefits.
    Q. What is electronic giving?
    A. Electronic giving is a direct debit program whereby your contributions are debited automatically from your bank account.
    Q. What are the advantages of electronic giving?
    A. It makes it easy to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you can't attend church. You can also help the church reach its budget commitments!
    Q. How is my contribution automatically deducted from my account?
    A. Once you complete and sign the authorization form and return it to the church, the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account to the church bank account on the fourth week of each month.
    Q. Without a canceled cheque, how can I prove I made my contribution?
    A. Your bank statement gives you an itemized list of electronic transactions. It is your proof of contributing.
    Q. How much does electronic giving cost?
    A. It costs you nothing! And by giving electronically, you don't have to remember to write cheques each week.
    Q. What if I try electronic giving and don't like it?
    A. You can cancel your authorization any time by notifying the church in writing.
If you think you'd like to partake of the automatic debit instead of having cartridge envelopes, please see the general office or the Corps Treasurer for an enrollment form. (A void cheque must accompany any forms to key in banking information)
